Last issue for today — we have a numerical variable, which we plot on the X-axis. Then we decide to treat it as categorical choose that for the X-axis. We create a second graph of gender, select all the males – the first graph changes appropriately, with all males colored as selected. But now if we choose “hide selected cases,” we would expect that all of the cases in the first graph would be the unselected color – but they’re not. Some are still colored “selected” and some “unselected.” I’m attaching an image, although the image doesn’t show the history…
