Hi everyone,
I am running two simulations in CODAP using the Sampler tool. I can change the axis label in my first graph, simply changing the label “value” in the data table. No matter what I did, I had no luck changing the axis label in my second graph. If I change the label “value” in the table, the data do not appear in the table. See the attached file. Any ideas to fix this problem? Thanks.

Can you create a share link to your document and post that? It’s not clear what is going on here. If both graphs are of the same “value” column, then why do they have different numbers of values?
It looks like you are using two spinners, so I thought perhaps there might be two data tables. You can check for that in the tables menu (the table button in the toolbar).
I tried to reproduce but could not, so being able to look at the shared CODAP doc would help with figuring this out.

I think Dan is correct. There should be two case tables as shown in the screen shot I’ve enclosed.
If that doesn’t solve your problem, please do as Dan suggests and share a link to your document.

Samet, I opened the doc and changed the “values” attribute on the right table to the one you said you wanted and it worked for me, changing the graph axis as well. See image.

Your video is extremely helpful! Yes, you have uncovered a bug in the Sampler!
I don’t think we and other users have pushed very hard on having more than one Sampler present at the same time. It appears that the second sampler is getting confused when its value attribute is given a new name. You are the first person to report this problem. Thank you for doing so!
You may be interested to know that we are currently working on improving the sampler. Fixing this bug certainly goes on the list of improvements to make.
