We use several shared links in our curriculum. When V3 is officially released, will all of the shared links need to be updated or will the original links still work?

All of the shared links will continue to work. Once the official release happens, those shared links will open in the new version of CODAP.

To piggyback on Amanda’s post, I’m wondering, Bill and Dan, do you have a sense of when V3 will be officially released? I’m working with four teachers right now who are using older shared view links that open in V2 currently. They’ll finish their units by the end of the school year (mid June). I’ve already alerted them that the change to V3 may happen soon. As soon as the change happens, I’d like to update our curriculum guide to replace its CODAP V2 screenshots with screenshots of what it looks like in V3. Thanks!

We don’t have a firm release date, but our plan was for mid-May, so sometime in the next two-weeks is likely, but not guaranteed.
